Oris Men’s Williams F1 Team Automatic Watch #635 7595 4164MB Review
Although I did not purchase my watch from Amazon I habitually use the reviews here so I thought I’d post my review of this timepiece.
Not only is this my first Oris watch, but it is also my first in-person experience with the brand as well (no one I know have ever owned a watch from this company). I was looking for a nice everyday watch, something dressier than my Bertucci field watch (which is also an amazing timepiece) but not gaudy or over the top fancy since I’m not a fan of gold/diamonds/etc nothing against that look but its just not my style.
When my watch arrived I was immediately taken aback by the looks and detail of the watch – the pictures online looks good but they do not do the watch justice. Also, its a fairly large watch – I’m a big guy so that was one of the selling points for me, but its so large that my girlfriend (who borrows just about everything of mine) commented that she would never borrow this as its way too big and heavy for her (another plus 
. Its a fairly unique looking watch in the details and I’ve received many compliments in the past several weeks from friends and co-workers.
The only downside I’ve found so far is that the watch does not carry much of a charge – since this is an automatic you will have to either wear it daily or get one of those watch holders which continue to charge the watch by shaking when its not being worn. It will keep time overnight, but if you go a day without wearing it the watch will stop and you’ll need to reset it when you next put it on.
All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase, looks and feels great, keeps accurate time and its not going to set you back like some other watches in the same class.

Great watch for everyday wear – F. Bailey –
I can’t say enough about this particular Oris model. This the first Oris I have purchased, but I know it will not be the last.
The design speaks for itself, as you can see in the pictures. It is simple, easy to read, with the addition of a stationary 24 hour time marker on the outer bezel. It has an exhibition back to display the swiss movement, and an oversized crown for ease of use. So far, I have found it to be very accurate, and loses very little time per day.
It is a sizable watch, and it is larger than 42 mm as it says at one point in the description. I will warn you that it is quite thick as well, but sits very comfortably on the wrist.
Even though it is sizable, I feel it is comfortable enough for an every day watch. I can wear it with a suit or with jeans.
All in all, I am impressed with my first Oris purchase, and am looking forward to the next.

Problems after one year – PR2000 – Atascadero, CA
I recieved this watch as a gift from my wife just over a year ago. The watch has a great look with a heavy stainless steel body, carbon fiber background and brightly colored numerals and hands. I have enjoyed wearing this watch for over a year but recently have experienced two problems. First, the watch was accidently knocked off the kitchen counter. I wasn’t at all concerned because this wasn’t much of a drop and this expensive watch feels very robust. However, after the fall, I noticed a rattling sound inside the watch and discovered that the automatic winding feature was no longer operating. I was very surprised by this as I have had much less expensive watches suffer more serious drops without damage numerous times. The watch is still under it’s two year warrantee however the only authorized service center is located in New York state. I will pursue a warrantee repair but am disappointed that a repair is required.
Second, the rubber watch band began to tear after only one year of wear. The cheapest replacement watch band I’ve been able to locate on the internet it 1.00! This seems outrageously expensive for a simple rubber watch band and is about 1/3 the total cost of the watch!
In summary, this is a great looking time piece with disappointing durability.

This is my first automatic watch and I am 100% happy with it. After 5 months of wearing it I still like to look on the back to see the red rotor working. Extraordinary price/value ratio. Despite quite heavy (with metal stripe) it feels really comfortable on the hand. Highly recommended!

I own about ten watches – Seiko Sportua, Tag Heuer, Tiffany Mark, Tissot – and this Oris watch consistently gets the most compliments and looks from all people.
I think what sets this watch apart from all others is that its very beefy looking and doesnt look thin and fragile. Then, the rubber strap is something you typically only see on Casios, but more high end watch companies are offering it on sporty style watches. Finally the open case on the back is very nice to look at the movement.
Of all the watches I wear, I am asked about this watch by more people and I love showing it off.

Nice automatic for the price. Fairly accurate, with only 3 to 4 secs gain per day. Average power reserve, can sit idle for about 12 hours.
The only down side is the color on the outer wheel is starting to wear off. Not sure if this is a manufacture defect.
All in all, a nice timepiece for everyday use.

What a great watch. The carbon fiber looks great, the rubberized band is athletic yet still stylish, and the numerals in orange look cool. My only gripe would be the numerals do not glow brightly or legibly in the dark. But still, who cares, I think this watch is incredible!!
