Being an owner of such a fine watch is really awesome. I receive compliments above compliments every time I wear this time piece. The reasons why I like this watch are because of it’s big numbers. You can see them even without glasses. The inside of the watch is also made from carbon fiber. On vehicles, it helps the car loose weight, and on this watch it helps lighten it on your wrist; and with the titanium casing this watch feels like your wearing nothing. The downside however is this thing scratches very easily because of the titanium. However for an overall sports watch to go swimming, diving, or out on the boat on the fishing trip, this is one timepiece you cannot leave without. You can even get away with wearing a suit; with this watch on your wrist.

Oris Men’s Artelier Automatic Leather Strap Watch #623 7582 4051LS Review
I ordered this watch through Amazon approximately two years ago (I won’t name the vendor I bought from, since it may not be the same vendor Amazon currently lists for this watch). When it arrived, some fifteen days later, the hands had fallen off the face of the watch and were rattling around loose under the crystal, and so I had to return it.
I then repurchased the same watch from an authorized dealer. Unfortunately, Oris does not authorize vendors to sell through the internet, although some do have online catalogs and allow telephone ordering; Oris’ manufacturer’s warranty only covers watches purchased through their authorized dealers.
The watch itself is beautiful, “dressy” enough to go with formal wear and my professional suits, but also simple and clean enough that I can wear it casually when I want to. I spent a great deal of time looking at different watches, and decided on this particular design for its clean, masculine, art-deco geometric style — classy and professional without being overblown, and a face uncluttered with unnecessary dials and free of excessive “bling.”
After about 1 year of daily wear, the winder broke, but I returned it to Oris under warranty and they repaired it free of charge, though the repair took about a month (and cost around in shipping).
While the watch itself is solid, sleek, and classic, the Oris-brand leather strap this watch ships with is “imitation” alligator skin, basically normal leather with a scale pattern branded on it. It is comfortable, though; the catch is a little odd (I had to call Oris customer service to figure out how to adjust it to fit my wrist) but once I was used to it extremely convenient (basically simulating a metal watchbands’ clasp on a leather strap).
Overall, I give this watch somewhere way north of five stars for aesthetics, but maybe only a four or so for durability. I would advise buying from an authorized retailer in order to ensure that you’ve got warranty coverage.

Awesome watch, got this for xmas last year from my wife, it does come in a super corny “Tire” shaped box ( for the price it should come in a nice, super classy box) my wife told the clerk she wouldnt buy it because of the cheesy tire box so they gave her one from another style Oris watch.. any how, this thing keeps great time, its not huge but not small and its nice and weighty so you KNOW its on your arm.. the Crstal is amazing both front and back (yes there is a clear crystal on the back as well as the face) its Sapphire so it is as strong as steel, i wore mine every day for the last year, even to work and while the SS outter caseing and strap got scuffed up some, that crystal has not one mark on it.. i think this watch is worth the full price just for that alone, plus with the “Open Engin” its super cool to l ook at and gets alot of attention.

Just got this watch from gemtopia today and love it. This is my 15th watch that I bought in the last couple years, and even thought it not the best, but one of the best that I have so far. Black dial a little bit difficult to read, should got the silver dial instead.
This watch is for more dress then sport. My seiko 5 can take more abusive than this one.
